Our wedding at the Belle Meade Plantation was absolutely beautiful. It is the perfect venue. We were married in the Boxwood Garden which was so picturesque and the walk to the gardens was stunning. The cocktail hour was outdoors in the game area and the reception was in the Carriage House. Our guests were very impressed with how gorgeous the grounds and buildings looked. Even the horses were out.

My wedding at Belle Meade Plantation was an absolute dream! Belle Meade was the first venue my fiance’ and I looked at last August and we fell in love with it immediately. We tied the knot here just two weeks ago and it could not have been more perfect. Every single guest commented on the elegance and charm of the garden and carriage house so much so that I still am hearing about it a few weeks later. I cannot imagine having had a more beautiful wedding and I would not have wanted to have it anywhere else! I recommend Belle Meade Plantation to anyone looking to get married in Nashville!

We held our ceremony at the Boxwood Garden and reception in the stables, known as the Carriage House. The garden was lush and green and we had the dinner in the stables with one long table and string lighting. Our guests gushed over the beauty of the grounds and said they’ve always wanted to attend a wedding with one long table! I am so excited to see our photos because the lighting and backdrops were picture perfect. Our wedding planner did most of the coordinating with the vendor but our direct conversations with Linda, from Belle Meade, were great. She was timely and answered all of our questions.

They helped down scale our giant wedding to a small intimate wedding that was more dreamy then we could have ever asked for. I wanted to thank you for the many times you had worked through details with me leading up to our wedding.  Everything was fabulous. I could not have asked for a better day and venue. Our wedding celebration was the best day of my life, and I am so happy/proud to have had our wedding at Belle Meade Plantation. Our guests have continually complimented us and Belle Meade Plantation stating it was one of the most, if not the most elegant and beautiful weddings that they have ever attended.

Belle Meade Plantation was the perfect place for my daughter’s wedding last month! Since the wedding took place at the end of March, it was important to her and her fiancé to have indoor as well as outdoor options for the ceremony since the weather fluctuates so much that time of year. My daughter really wanted to have the wedding in the garden which worked out since the weather turned out perfectly. We really had no worries because the backup indoor plan was the quaint, romantic stable. The carriage house was beautiful for the reception and comfortably allowed for dinner and dancing for all our guests. The place can accommodate a large number of guests yet still feel intimate for a smaller wedding too. Everything flowed beautifully as the ceremony and reception sites were close to each other. Most of the guests, many from out of town, enjoyed checking out the grounds a little early before the ceremony started. We had so many compliments from guests on the venue and the beauty of the grounds. There are so many beautiful spots for pictures ranging from the bridge and creek to the garden and the mansion itself. The venue adds an elegant touch to the trend of the rustic barn theme. The fact that the place is a historical landmark makes it even more special, and I have no doubt my daughter and son in law will visit it often in years to come. I highly recommend this venue to any couples whether local or looking for a Nashville destination wedding!

We loved that while it was still in Nashville, it felt hidden and tucked away. One of the reasons we were drawn to Belle Meade was how green and lush everything was. The magnolias were in full bloom on our wedding day, and it was stunning. With it being June and an outdoor wedding, there was some fear it would rain. There were no clouds in the sky that day, and the temperature stayed in the low 80s all day. I remember the light was magical all day long — especially during our ceremony. One guest told us our ceremony felt like we were all in the Garden of Eden. It just felt really sacred and beautiful. On Saturday, June 10, 2017, love filled the air.
